A Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) error has caused Microsoft Windows servers to crash globally after a recent update from US-based cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike. This has affected millions of users in countries including the US, Australia, New Zealand, India, Japan, Canada, and the Czech Republic.

Users are reporting disruptions on social media platforms like X and Reddit, with problems ranging from logging out of Windows devices to issues with banking software, airline ticketing systems, news media servers, and digital payments at supermarkets. Many people have missed flights, and essential services are unresponsive.

Pakistani users have not reported the issue yet. CrowdStrike has acknowledged the problem and is working on a fix. They have advised users not to open support tickets and will provide updates as soon as the issue is resolved.
