The International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s T20 World Cup trophy will embark on a tour of Pakistan starting September 18, ahead of the tournament set to take place on October 3 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The trophy’s visit will commence with an exhibition at the match between Pakistan Women and South Africa in Multan. Following this, it will travel to Faisalabad on September 19, where it will be displayed during the ongoing Champions One-Day Cup and at various locations around the city.
The tour will conclude on September 21, when the trophy will return after its visit to Pakistan.
The ninth edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup will kick off with a match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka on October 3.
