The Met Department has issued a warning about heavy monsoon rains across Pakistan from today until July 15.
Eastern Sindh and Balochistan may see rain today and tomorrow, including possible showers in Karachi and interior Sindh. From July 10 to 15, rain is expected to spread to Punjab, Islamabad, and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Heavy rain is likely in South Punjab from July 12 to 14. Balochistan will also experience rain on July 8, 9, and 12.
There is a risk of landslides in higher areas from July 12 to 14 due to heavy rainfall. Residents there should be cautious and prepared.
In Karachi, light rain and thunderstorms are expected to start this evening. The city is currently hot and humid, with temperatures around 32°C and expected to rise to 37°C. Humidity is high at 70%, with winds blowing at 15 km/h from west to east. This hot and humid weather is expected to continue for the next 24 hours.
