Pakistan cricket legend Wasim Akram didn’t hold back his criticism of the Pakistan batters after their loss to India in the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Led by Babar Azam, the Pakistan team faced severe backlash for their poor batting performance against India at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

Akram expressed his frustration with the team’s inability to chase a modest target of 120 runs, stating in a segment with Star Sports that the players themselves are causing their downfall.

“The Pakistan team doesn’t need any enemies; they are more than enough,” Akram remarked, highlighting his disappointment with their batting approach and lack of awareness during the chase.
