The reported kidnapping attempt involving Pakistani actress Nimra Khan in Karachi’s Defense Phase 8 area has been reclassified as harassment rather than an abduction attempt.
According to SDPO Derakhshan, the investigation has revised the initial reports. After reviewing CCTV footage and witness statements, authorities determined that the incident was an instance of harassment by the same individual linked to two recent similar cases.
All suspects have been apprehended, as confirmed by the SDPO.
The incident occurred on Sunday, August 11, at 7:21 pm. Nimra Khan had previously shared her experience through an emotional Instagram video, where she detailed waiting outside a hotel in Defense while her family was delayed in traffic.
In her account, Khan described a distressing encounter with three armed men who allegedly tried to forcibly abduct her. She recounted a moment of fear when one of the men aimed a gun at her, leading her to scream and escape the situation.
