Pakistani tourists heading to the UAE are now advised to buy return tickets from the same airline to streamline their travel process and avoid complications at check-in. Recent guidelines emphasize the importance of meeting all tourist visa requirements, which include proof of accommodation, sufficient funds, and confirmed return tickets.
SereneAir, a Pakistani airline, has specifically recommended that passengers purchase return tickets with them to ensure a smoother experience, as tickets from other airlines may require additional approvals from UAE authorities. Similarly, Airblue has stated that tourists with return tickets from different carriers will need to seek special approval before boarding.
Travelers must also present valid return tickets that align with their visa duration, confirmed hotel bookings, or proof of residence if staying with friends or family. Additionally, a minimum of $500 (around Dh1,835) in cash or a credit card is required to cover their stay. Airlines have warned that failing to meet these criteria will result in denial of boarding.
With approximately 1.7 million Pakistanis currently residing in the UAE and millions more visiting for tourism or employment opportunities, adherence to these guidelines is crucial for a hassle-free travel experience.
