He assured that the UAE consulate continues to process visas for Pakistanis, including work visas without age restrictions.
Separately, on June 7, Pakistan’s Foreign Office stressed the importance of regulated border movement between Pakistan and Afghanistan, emphasizing the requirement for visas and Afghan passports for entry into Pakistan. This ensures compliance with visa regulations at border crossings.
In another development, Italy resumed visa services in Lahore on March 7, with plans to expand these services to other major Pakistani cities soon. Augusto Palmieri, the First Secretary of the Italian Embassy, announced this during a speech at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
