Two Children and Young Man Die After Falling into Well in Karachi
KARACHI: A tragic accident occurred in Karachi’s Garden West area, where two children and a young man lost their lives after falling into a well near Fawara Chowk, ARY News reported on Sunday.
The victims, aged between 10 and 12, identified as Badar and Talha, were playing cricket when they accidentally fell into the well. A young man who tried to rescue them also became trapped.
Upon learning of the incident, police and rescue teams quickly arrived at the scene. The rescue operation was hampered by the lack of oxygen in the well, requiring rescuers to use oxygen masks and cylinders.
Despite their efforts, all three individuals were found deceased. The bodies of the children and the young man were recovered from the well after a challenging rescue operation.
