Toyota Pakistan Honors Arshad Nadeem with Fortuner GR-S
In celebration of Arshad Nadeem’s Olympic gold medal in javelin throw, Indus Motor Company (IMC) has upgraded its gift to the athlete from a Corolla Cross to a Toyota Fortuner GR-S. This gesture highlights IMC’s continued support for Nadeem, who has been a part of the company’s journey since 2023.
The presentation took place at IMC’s manufacturing facility in Karachi, where CEO Ali Asghar Jamali and other top executives were present. Jamali expressed his enthusiasm, noting, “Arshad’s remarkable achievement is a testament to his dedication, and we are honored to support athletes who bring pride to our nation.”
Previously, Nadeem had been honored with a Honda Civic from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, celebrating his record-breaking throw of 92.97 meters. He also received a Corolla Cross from the Punjab governor and a Suzuki Alto from a businessman.
Nadeem’s gold medal, which marked Pakistan’s first individual Olympic gold in 40 years, came as a thrilling competition against Indian athlete Neeraj Chopra, who took home the silver.
