By

April 17, 2024

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) says Karachi may get thunderstorms and light to moderate rain today. This is because of a weather system affecting Balochistan. The rain might continue till Friday morning.

Other places likely to get rain include Jamshoro, Dadu, Naushahro Feroze, Sanghar, Hyderabad, and many more districts.

In Balochistan, there’s a risk of flash floods in some areas. There’s also a chance of landslides in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan from April 18 to April 21.

Earlier, the Met office had predicted rain and thunderstorms in Karachi from April 17 to April 19.
