Karachi is expected to experience rain with thunderstorms on July 29 and 30, according to the Met Office. A strong monsoon system will enter Sindh on the night of July 28. The National Disaster Management Authority has warned of heavy rainfall across the country from July 28 to 31, due to monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea.

This weather system could bring heavy rain to parts of Karachi and other districts in Sindh, potentially leading to flash floods. Areas in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Galliyat, Murree, Gilgit Baltistan, and Kashmir are also likely to see heavy rain and thunderstorms.

The NDMA has cautioned about possible flooding in hilly areas and streams in Balochistan, as well as in D.G. Khan and Rajanpur in southern Punjab. Meanwhile, Karachi and other coastal areas of Sindh are experiencing cloudy weather, with light rain or drizzle expected. The wet spell continues in various parts of Punjab, including Gujrat, Daska, and Wazirabad, which have seen heavy rainfall.
