Somon Air to Start Islamabad-Dushanbe Flights Tomorrow

Somon Air from Tajikistan has announced its flight schedule from Pakistan, starting with the first flight departing from Islamabad to Dushanbe on June 27.

Captain (retd.) Saeed Khan, Director of Marketing at Shaheen Airport Services, confirmed to Urdu News that direct flights between Pakistan and Tajikistan will commence this week, beginning with Islamabad.

Khan highlighted that Tajikistan is a popular destination among Pakistani travelers for tourism and business, prompting the launch of these direct flights.

Somon Air, known for its quality service, has introduced competitive ticket prices for this new route. A one-way ticket from Islamabad to Dushanbe costs $200, and a return ticket costs $300.

In addition, Tajikistan has simplified its visa process for Pakistani visitors, now issuing visas within 24 hours to facilitate travel.

The Islamabad International Airport Authority has confirmed the inaugural flight of Somon Air from Islamabad to Tajikistan on June 27. Civil Aviation Spokesperson Saifullah assured that all necessary arrangements have been made to support Somon Air’s operations.
