Law enforcement agencies have arrested six additional employees of Adiala Jail for allegedly aiding former Prime Minister Imran Khan while he was detained in the Rawalpindi prison. The arrested personnel include two women—one a sweeper and the other a warden—along with CCTV camera staff.
The employees are under interrogation, and their mobile phones have been seized as part of the investigation. Reports suggest that the women staff were involved in providing assistance to Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, in violation of jail regulations.
These arrests follow the earlier detainment of Superintendent of Jail Muhammad Akram, Assistant Superintendent Bilal, and Nazim Shah, whose statements have led to the identification of these additional suspects. The ongoing investigation aims to uncover the full extent of the alleged facilitation.
