The Sindh government has officially approved a new health insurance policy aimed at providing medical coverage for police personnel and their families. Following the Sindh Cabinet’s decision, the Finance Department is set to release funds for the initiative shortly.

A meeting chaired by Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon at the Central Police Office discussed the scheme in detail. During the briefing, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Finance shared that health cards would be issued to all police personnel by the selected insurance company.

To ensure proper coverage, assistance from NADRA will be utilized to verify the family details of police officers. Additionally, training sessions on how to use the health insurance benefits will commence immediately, with IG Sindh emphasizing the need for officers and their families to be well-informed about the policy.
