Modi Thanks PM for Good Wishes

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his re-election and swearing-in ceremony.

Sharif sent his congratulations to Modi through his social media account on X, showcasing a diplomatic gesture between the two countries.

Later, Modi responded by retweeting Shehbaz’s tweet and thanking him for the “warm wishes.”

Narendra Modi was sworn in as the prime minister of India for the third consecutive term, equaling Jawaharlal Nehru’s record. However, this time, Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) did not secure a simple majority, leading to the formation of a coalition government.

Indian President Draupadi Murmu administered the oath to Modi at an official ceremony attended by newly elected assembly members and distinguished guests, including heads of state from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Mauritius.

The exchange of congratulatory messages between the leaders of Pakistan and India reflects diplomatic efforts to foster positive relations amid ongoing regional dynamics.
