A series of tragic road accidents across Punjab on Friday resulted in seven fatalities and several serious injuries, according to rescue officials.
Multan Collision
In Multan, a collision between a truck and a trailer near the Shah Rukn Alam Interchange resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to five others. Rescue teams arrived quickly, administering first aid and transporting the injured to Nishtar Hospital. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
Gujrat Bus-Van Crash
In Gujrat, a collision between a bus and a van near Kunjah led to the deaths of two people: a 10-year-old girl named Minahil and a 65-year-old man named Ashraf. Rescue officials suspect speeding may have contributed to the crash. The bodies have been taken to a nearby hospital, and authorities are continuing their investigation.
Kasur Car Overturn
A tragic accident in Kasur occurred when a car overturned near Rao Khanwala. The incident, caused by the driver falling asleep at the wheel, resulted in the death of a two-year-old child, Hasan Shahbaz. The child’s parents, 34-year-old Zulfiqar and 30-year-old Ayesha from Raiwand, were critically injured and have been transferred to Lahore for further treatment.
