Pakistan Railways has announced the restoration of the train service between Quetta and Peshawar, scheduled for October 11.
According to a letter from the CEO of Railways to the Divisional Superintendent in Quetta, the Jafar Express will depart for Peshawar on October 11 at 9:00 AM.
Railway officials informed a private news channel that repairs on the Dozan Bridge, which disrupted service when it collapsed near Kolpur on August 26, will be completed within 10 days. Following these repairs, a trial run will be conducted.
The collapse of the bridge had caused significant disruptions, halting train services not only from Quetta but also impacting connections from Sindh, Punjab, and Peshawar.
