Punjab Sets Dates for Summer Break in Schools and Colleges

As the weather gets hotter, the education minister of Punjab has announced when schools and colleges will have their summer holidays.
It looks like this year’s summer break will be similar to last year’s, lasting for about two months.
The minister said that summer vacation will start on June 7, 2024, and end on August 19, 2024. The Education Department will soon give out an official notice about it.
Before this announcement, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) warned that in June, the temperature might go up to 49.5 degrees Celsius. And in August, it could reach as high as 48.63 degrees Celsius.
