Punjab Government Rewards Top Matric Exam Performers
Education Minister Rana Sikandar congratulated the top achievers in the Punjab matric exams.
Ayan Kashif from Danish School Mianwali and Zunaira Mushtaq from Faisalabad earned top positions in the matric results from the Lahore and Faisalabad Boards, respectively. These results reflect the hard work of the students, their families, and the quality of education from their schools.
Lahore Board Top Performer: Ayan Kashif secured the first position with an impressive score of 1190 marks. Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat honored him with medals and laptops. Ayan credited his success to his mother and teachers, especially after his father’s passing. His mother, proud of his achievements, shared her joy and Ayan’s future plans to study software engineering.
Minister’s Remarks: Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat congratulated all top position holders across Punjab’s education boards. He praised the achievements from the Lahore board and thanked Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her efforts against cheating.
Exam Results Overview:
- Science Group: 73.91% pass rate; 80% for girls and 67% for boys.
- Arts Group: 55% pass rate; 63% for girls and 38% for boys.
Faisalabad Board Top Performer: Zunaira Mushtaq, from a government school, topped the arts group. She dedicated her success to her hardworking father and aims to further her education to make her family and country proud.
