PSX to Stay Closed for 2 Days Next Week
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) will be closed on July 16 and 17, 2024, due to public holidays for Ashura.
The PSX announced that it will not operate on these dates, which correspond to the 9th and 10th of Muharram. The federal government declared these two days as public holidays to observe Ashura. According to a notification from the Cabinet Division, the Prime Minister has officially designated July 16 and 17 as holidays for this occasion.
