In a cricket match at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, Islamabad United beat Peshawar Zalmi by 5 wickets. This victory means Islamabad United has earned a spot in the Final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9, where they will play against Multan Sultans.

At the start of the game, Shadab Khan, the captain of Islamabad United, won the toss and chose to field first. Peshawar Zalmi’s Saim Ayub and Babar Azam began batting, facing Naseem Shah’s bowling. The match saw a strong start from Peshawar Zalmi, with Saim Ayub hitting three boundaries in a row.

However, Islamabad United managed to take wickets at crucial moments, with Shadab Khan playing a significant role in the field. Despite a good effort from Peshawar Zalmi’s Aamer Jamal, they reached a total of 185/5.

In response, Islamabad United’s Martin Guptill and Alex Hales started batting but faced early setbacks. However, Imad Wasim and Azam Khan stabilized the innings, leading to a successful chase. Imad Wasim was named the Player of the Match for his outstanding performance, scoring an unbeaten 59 runs and bowling economically.
