Popular Bakery and Six Other Businesses Closed in Lahore
In a crackdown on illegal commercial activities in Lahore, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) stepped up its efforts.
On Monday, LDA teams sealed Cakes & Bakes and six other businesses in Gulshan-e-Ravi for not paying commercialization fees. The businesses included a medical store, private schools, grocery shops, and offices. The operation was led by Director of Town Planning-I, Ayesha Mutahir, in coordination with enforcement teams and the police.
LDA officials stated that multiple notices were given to the owners of these buildings before the operation.
LDA Director General, Tahir Farooq, emphasized that the LDA will continue to take strict action against violations of building and parking bylaws, encroachments, and illegal commercial activities in Lahore.
