PMDC Announces MDCAT 2024 Exam Schedule
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) will hold the MDCAT exam on September 22, 2024 (Sunday).
In a recent meeting, the council decided to conduct the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) on the same date both in Pakistan and abroad.
The MDCAT syllabus will be available next week on the PM&DC website, and the registration portal will open soon. The syllabus will remain the same as last year.
Provincial secretaries have been directed to start preparing for the exam, ensuring it is in the best interest of the students. Last year, around 180,534 students took the exam, and this year, about 200,000 are expected. The exam’s difficulty level will be considered to ensure fairness without compromising merit.
PM&DC President Prof. Dr. Rizwan Taj stated that MDCAT-2024 will be a paper-based exam held on a single day through provincial public universities, supervised by PM&DC. He emphasized that the students’ future is a top priority, and PM&DC is working to support them.
Prof. Dr. Rizwan Taj instructed the universities to follow guidelines strictly to ensure a fair and transparent admission process.
