PM Shehbaz Announces Pakistan's Plan to Send 1,000 Students to China for Training
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has introduced a groundbreaking plan to send 1,000 Pakistani students to a renowned Chinese agricultural institute for advanced training. During his recent trip to Xi’an, a pivotal agricultural and industrial hub in China, Sharif paid a visit to the Yangling Agricultural Demonstration Base. Renowned for its state-of-the-art agricultural methodologies and research, this facility left a lasting impression on the Prime Minister. Sharif took the opportunity to extend an invitation to the Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University to establish a campus in Pakistan. This strategic move aims to bolster educational collaboration and facilitate knowledge exchange between the two nations.
In addition to his insightful tour, Prime Minister Sharif engaged in numerous high-level meetings with Chinese leaders and investors. These deliberations culminated in the signing of 23 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), aiming to intensify cooperation across diverse sectors such as agriculture, industry, technology, and education.
