A PIA flight from Islamabad to Skardu narrowly avoided disaster due to a technical issue shortly after takeoff. The plane, which departed Islamabad at 10:50 AM, encountered a technical problem and the pilot initially announced plans to return to Islamabad.

In a statement, Prime Minister Sharif emphasized that any delays in this transition would not be tolerated, underscoring the importance of enhancing transparency and efficiency in government operations. “From next month, there should be no file work without the e-office system,” he said.

The move is part of a broader initiative to improve governance and promote digitization within the country. The staff at the Prime Minister’s Office have already undergone training for the new e-office system, and the Prime Minister has begun receiving files through this digital platform.

To ensure smooth implementation, the Prime Minister has also requested a progress report on the e-office system within the next two weeks. This initiative reflects a significant step towards modernizing administrative processes and reducing reliance on physical paperwork.
