PIA Flight with 100 Passengers Escapes Disaster After Technical Glitch
A PIA flight from Islamabad to Skardu narrowly avoided disaster due to a technical issue shortly after takeoff. The plane, which departed Islamabad at 10:50 AM, encountered a technical problem and the pilot initially announced plans to return to Islamabad.
However, shortly after, the pilot reported that the issue had been resolved and decided to continue the flight to Skardu without landing back in Islamabad. The plane eventually landed safely in Skardu at 11:45 AM.
The flight carried 100 passengers, including MNA Nawabzada Mir Jamal Raisiani and the Gilgit-Baltistan Minister.
