On Monday, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) had big problems with their flights. Many flights were late, and one flight left 50 people stuck at Jeddah Airport.
One flight, PK-732 from Jeddah to Karachi, was more than four hours late. Another flight, PK-300 from Karachi to Islamabad, was over six hours late.
People who were supposed to fly got really upset because of the long delays and some even protested against the airline.
Reports say that on Sunday, a PIA flight leaving Jeddah for Islamabad had to leave 50 passengers behind because the plane wasn’t big enough. Most of these passengers were Umrah pilgrims.
The stranded passengers had a hard time in Jeddah and asked PIA for help.
A PIA spokesperson said that the 50 passengers were taken to a hotel, and PIA is arranging a special plane to bring them back from Jeddah on Monday.
