The district administration of Peshawar has announced an immediate ban on the hunting of ducks and geese (murghabi), which will remain in effect until November 2024. This decision aims to protect these birds during their migration season and preserve their populations from potential harm.

In an official statement, the administration emphasized that hunting, as well as the delivery and trade of these birds, is strictly prohibited. This initiative is part of broader efforts to safeguard wildlife and promote sustainable ecological practices in the region.
