The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the monthly salary details for the national cricket team players. According to media reports, category A players receive Rs4.5 million monthly, and category B players receive Rs3 million monthly. The latest contracts from PCB show significant salary increases for all categories.
Category A players get a monthly salary of Rs4.5 million, while category B players receive Rs3 million monthly.
Category A players received a 202% increase, and Category B players got a 144% rise. Players in categories C and D also saw increases of 135% and 127%, respectively.
The players are categorized based on performance, with new contracts announced by PCB in September last year.
Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Muhammad Rizwan are in category A, earning Rs4.5 million monthly. Category B includes Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah, who earn Rs3 million per month.
For categories C and D, monthly salaries range from Rs750,000 to Rs1.5 million. Imad Wasim is in category C, while Iftikhar Ahmed, Hasan Ali, and Saim Ayub are in category D.
Besides their monthly salary, players receive fixed match fees and match awards across all three formats, adding to their overall earnings.
