Pakistan’s meat exports to China have experienced notable growth, totaling $2.6 million from January to July 2024, with boiled beef driving this increase.

This rise highlights the growing demand for high-quality Pakistani meat in China and reinforces Pakistan’s position as a key supplier of premium meat products.

Owais Mir, Chairman of the DEA Group, attributes the success of Pakistani boiled beef in the Chinese market to its exceptional quality and competitive pricing. He notes that this achievement is the result of strong collaborative efforts between Pakistan and China aimed at enhancing their economic ties.

In the first seven months of 2024, Pakistan exported 540 tons of boiled meat to China, valued at $2.607 million. Currently, three Pakistani companies are authorized to export boiled meat to China, and industry experts are optimistic about the continuation of this positive trend.

The growth in meat exports is expected to further strengthen the economic partnership between Pakistan and China, paving the way for more significant trade opportunities in the future.
