ISLAMABAD: Renowned Pakistani celebrity Fawad Khan has dropped a new electronic pop track titled “Taara/Diamonds,” in collaboration with a Seattle-based media outlet and production house. Released on Saturday, the track is a unique fusion of Ali Azmat’s “Taara Jala” and Rihanna’s “Diamonds,” and features contributions from Bilal Ali and Maria Unera.
Fawad Khan, celebrated for his roles in popular Pakistani television dramas and his successful Bollywood career, is also known for his musical roots with the Lahore-based rock band “Entity Paradigm.” This new track marks a return to his musical roots, blending his star power with fresh sounds.
The Seattle-based production house MTG, known for its innovative projects, has also included the melodious voices of Bilal Ali, the lead singer of the band “Kashmir,” and Maria Unera, a Pakistani-Filipino singer-songwriter.
Maheen Mustafa, the founder of MTG, announced the release of the song and its accompanying video earlier this month, noting that it will be available on all major streaming platforms. The track pays tribute to individuals striving to bring about positive change, showcasing a blend of talent and international collaboration.
