Mai Dhai, a well-known folk singer from Tharparkar, Pakistan, has been featured on the famous Times Square billboard in New York. She gained international fame after performing at the Lahooti Live Sessions in 2013.
In 2015, she expanded her global reach by participating in the SXSW Music Festival in the United States. During that trip, she also performed at the City University Graduate Center in New York, reaching a wider audience.
