RAWALPINDI: On Tuesday, Pakistan achieved a significant milestone with the successful training launch of the Shaheen-II ballistic missile, further strengthening the nation’s defense capabilities.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the launch was designed to train military personnel and validate various technical parameters. It also aimed to assess the performance of new sub-systems incorporated into the missile, which are intended to enhance its accuracy and survivability.
The event was attended by senior officials from the Strategic Plans Division, Army Strategic Forces Command, and key scientists and engineers involved in the missile’s development. The successful test was met with praise from the director general of the Strategic Plans Division, who lauded the scientists’ technical expertise, dedication, and contributions to this significant achievement.
