Pakistan has successfully secured a substantial loan package of $8.7 billion from the World Bank, which will be disbursed over the next five years to support various critical development projects across the country.

This financial boost is earmarked for transformative projects including the Khyber Pass Economic Corridor, aimed at enhancing trade and connectivity, and the KP Hydropower & Renewable Energy Development Project, which will strengthen Pakistan’s energy infrastructure.
