Pakistan and Tajikistan have decided that citizens with official passports will no longer need visas to visit each other’s countries.
This decision was made after talks between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan and President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan in Dushanbe.
They discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in various areas, including trade, investment, culture, education, technology, defense, disaster relief, government practices, and people-to-people exchanges.
The leaders also signed the Strategic Partnership Agreement to deepen their relationship. This agreement includes specific plans for cooperation, such as using each other’s airports, working together internationally, facilitating university visits, promoting sports exchanges, supporting business collaborations, and encouraging tourism between the two countries.
