Pakistan Airports to Install E-Gates for Quicker Immigration
Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) will soon install e-gates at major airports to speed up immigration. The e-gates will first be set up at Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad airports, allowing passengers to quickly scan their passports for faster clearance.
This upgrade will cut wait times and make travel more efficient. The PCAA has invited technology companies to submit bids for installing these e-gates, with a deadline of August 13. This move aims to modernize airport operations and improve the travel experience for millions of passengers.
