Oxford University Introduces Scholarships for Students from Pakistan

In a significant development, the University of Oxford has announced its participation in the Benazir Scholarship Program by offering scholarships to students from Balochistan, as reported by 24NewsHD TV channel.

A formal agreement has been reached between Oxford University and the Government of Balochistan to facilitate this initiative.

Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, present at the scholarship agreement signing ceremony between the Oxford Pakistan Program and the University of Oxford for Balochistan students, stressed the importance of this scholarship in bridging educational disparities and promoting higher education.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the first Chief Minister of Balochistan to address Oxford’s Lady Margaret Hall, emphasized the significance of this initiative in connecting local educational needs with global standards. He underscored the transformative impact this program would have on Balochistan’s youth, highlighting its role in fostering democracy, social progress, and training future leaders.

“This scholarship program signifies more than just financial assistance; it is a tool for empowering the youth of Balochistan,” Bugti elaborated.

The new scholarship initiative aims to provide talented students from Balochistan with opportunities to pursue higher education at one of the world’s most prestigious universities.
