Only Unity Can Steer Country Out of Doldrums: Tessori
Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori emphasized on Wednesday that national unity is essential for overcoming the country’s challenges.
Tessori announced a significant program scheduled for September 6 to honor the martyrs. He highlighted the importance of unity, noting that adversaries seek to create divisions among different communities, such as Shias and Sunnis or Balochis and Punjabis.
Economic Challenges and Political Hurdles
Recently, Tessori expressed concern that the political situation is impeding efforts to resolve economic issues. He remarked, “Despite the prime minister’s dedicated efforts, progress remains elusive. While Pakistan strives to overcome economic difficulties, incidents like the attacks in Balochistan continue to pose challenges.”
Meeting with Punjab Governor
In a separate development, Tessori met with Punjab Governor Saleem Haider Khan to discuss the federal government’s role in provincial development. Tessori praised the federal government’s contributions to the progress and prosperity of the provinces and commended its efforts in developing industrial areas.
The Punjab Governor also highlighted ongoing modern development projects funded by the federal government and lauded the public welfare measures introduced under the governor’s initiative.
