Official Rankings Released for Airlines Operating in Pakistan
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has released a six-month performance evaluation report for domestic airlines, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
According to the report covering July to December 2023, PIA ranked fourth with an 89.32 percent departure and arrival ratio, indicating room for improvement in operational efficiency.
Topping the list is Fly Jinnah with an impressive on-time performance rate of 98.37 percent. Following closely is Air Blue in second place with a commendable 90.62 percent punctuality rating, while Serene Air secured the third spot with an 89.86 percent punctuality record.
However, AirSial, previously fourth, dropped to fifth place with an 80.77 percent punctuality rating in the latest rankings.
The report highlights that no Pakistani airline achieved a perfect 100 percent punctuality rate for departures and arrivals during the evaluated period.
