Nine Pakistani Students Win Awards at Türkiye’s Largest Public Speaking Contest
Nine Pakistani students won prestigious awards at the Istanbul University Model United Nations (MUN) held from July 8 to 11, 2024. The Pakistan Consulate General in Istanbul confirmed their success.
This MUN, one of Europe’s largest public speaking events, included 10,000 students from 143 countries. The Pakistani students, competing against university-level participants in 57 disciplines, excelled in debates and earned awards in various committees.
The Consul General of Pakistan in Istanbul, H.E. Mr. Nauman Aslam, held a special event at the consulate to celebrate the students and their trainer. He praised their impressive achievement and hard work, marking a proud moment for Pakistan on the international stage.
