Kenza Layli, an AI-generated beauty queen from Morocco, made history by winning the first-ever Miss AI title and a $13,000 prize.
Layli, a digital influencer, was crowned at the World AI Creator Awards (WAICAs), earning $5,000 in cash, support from a major AI platform, and a dedicated publicist. Her virtual presence and engaging personality impressed judges, including AI influencers Emily Pellegrini and Aitana Lopez, as well as experts like pageant historian Sally-Ann Fawcett and marketing guru Andrew Bloch. Contestants were judged on beauty, social media influence, and innovative use of AI.
Sofia Novales praised Layli’s exceptional facial consistency and detail, noting her commitment to real-world issues. Layli had already gained over 130,000 Instagram followers and partnered with brands like Hyundai and Bioderma. Despite tough competition from 1,499 other creators, including second-place Lalina Valina from France and third-place Olivia C from Portugal, Layli’s dedication to advancing AI technology stood out.
In her acceptance speech, Layli highlighted AI’s transformative potential. Meriam Bessa created Layli at Moroccan media agency L’Atelier Digital & AI, where Layli interacts with followers in seven languages.
The WAICAs, sponsored by Fanvue, aim to recognize talent in the AI creator economy. Fanvue co-founder William Monange envisions the WAICAs as “the Oscars of the AI creator economy.” Bloch noted the marketing potential of AI creators like Layli, anticipating high-profile opportunities for them in advertising, PR, and branding.
As AI creators like Kenza Layli continue to innovate, the world eagerly watches their impact on the future of digital influence.
