Meta Promotes Responsible Content Creation with Pakistani Facebook Community
Meta has teamed up with Pakistani comedian and content creator Ali Gul Pir to create a four-episode weekly podcast called #CreatewithCare. The podcast encourages the Facebook community to have open conversations about making positive connections and creating thoughtful content.
The final episode was recorded live at a Meet & Greet event Meta hosted at Avari Towers Karachi on June 29. Content creators Amtul Baweja and Mansoor Qureshi joined as guests to discuss the importance of careful sharing online.
Dr. Priyanka Bhalla, Meta’s Head of Safety Policy for South Asia, spoke about the tools available on Facebook to keep users safe. She emphasized Meta’s commitment to providing resources for safe and positive online experiences.
The Karachi event is part of Meta’s effort to engage with the Facebook community in Pakistan. It included content creators, Facebook Group admins, digital publishers, and small business owners who started their ventures on Facebook.
