MEPCO Announces Two-Day Load Shedding Schedule for Bahawalpur
The Multan Electric Company (MEPCO) has released a two-day load-shedding schedule affecting several areas of Bahawalpur City, necessitated by repair and maintenance work at grid stations.
According to MEPCO’s official announcement, power will be suspended in specific areas to facilitate maintenance at the 132KV Cantt and 132KV Baghdad grid stations on October 2 (Wednesday) and October 3 (Thursday), 2024, from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
Affected feeders include Bahawalpur Gulzar Mahal, Al-Fareed, Allied Solvent Plant, Civil Hospital, City Baghdad, Badar Sher, Jhangi Wala, Azhar, Jinnah, Darbar Mahal, Azdi, Millat Park, and Dera Bakha. Residents are advised to prepare accordingly for the scheduled outages.
