Man Suffers Brain Hemorrhage After Exposure to Loud DJ Music; Medical Experts Surprised

In a startling case, a 40-year-old man from Balrampur, Surguja division, experienced a brain hemorrhage after exposure to loud DJ music, despite having no previous health issues.

The patient, Sanjay Jaiswal, had no history of hypertension, illness, or trauma. His symptoms began abruptly two days ago while he was packing DJ equipment. Initially, he dismissed the dizziness he felt and went home. However, that evening, while preparing dinner, he suffered from severe headaches and vomiting.

Dr. Shailendra Gupta, an associate professor at the ENT department of Government Medical College Ambikapur, reported that Jaiswal arrived at the hospital the next morning in a wheelchair. A CT scan revealed a blood clot in the back of his brain, likely caused by a burst blood vessel. Such incidents are typically linked to hypertension, trauma, or accidents, none of which applied to Jaiswal.

Dr. Gupta noted that Jaiswal was initially reluctant to disclose the full circumstances, possibly due to his association with the DJ equipment. When pressed, Jaiswal admitted that he had been exposed to loud music from the DJ, which caused the initial dizziness and subsequent deterioration of his condition.

Dr. Gupta explained that while brain hemorrhages are usually associated with underlying health issues, loud noises can sometimes lead to such events, particularly in individuals with vulnerable occipital regions at the back of the head. Despite Jaiswal’s normal blood pressure and lack of prior medical problems, the incident highlights an unusual and unexpected risk associated with intense noise exposure.
