Lahore to Reintroduce Historic British-Era Tram Service
On Friday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Headquarters to announce several new projects. She shared plans to introduce a tram service in various parts of Lahore, including Liberty, Mini Market, and Hali Road.
During her visit, Maryam Nawaz also announced the creation of the Punjab Development Authority (PDA), which will manage development projects across the province. She ordered the remodeling and beautification of MM Alam Road to improve its appearance and infrastructure.
These initiatives aim to enhance public transportation and urban development in Lahore, making the city more appealing and accessible for residents and visitors.
