The Peshawar district administration, in collaboration with the Regional Transport Authority (RTA), has shut down the Daewoo Bus Terminal. This action follows concerns about the use of old buses on routes to southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The provincial government directed officials to seal the terminal on G.T. Road and instructed Daewoo to replace the old buses with newer ones and adhere to official regulations.
Officials warned that if Daewoo does not comply, the company could face legal consequences and further actions. This move aims to improve the safety and reliability of transportation services in the region.
