Kasur District to Observe Local Holiday for Hazrat Bulleh Shah's Urs
Special Holiday Declared for August 31
The Kasur district administration has announced a local holiday on Saturday, August 31, in honor of the Urs of the revered Sufi poet and philosopher Hazrat Bulleh Shah. This holiday aligns with the Urs celebrations, which will begin on August 30 and continue for three days.
Community Celebration and Activities
Deputy Commissioner Captain (r) Aurangzeb Haider Khan issued the official notification confirming the day off for Kasur residents. The Urs of Hazrat Bulleh Shah is a significant event in the region, attracting devotees and admirers from across Pakistan.
The celebrations will feature a range of activities including poetry recitations, musical performances, and spiritual gatherings, all dedicated to honoring the life and teachings of Hazrat Bulleh Shah.
