Karachi Traffic Plan for 12th Rabiul Awwal Processions
Karachi, Monday: In preparation for the 12th Rabiul Awwal processions, Karachi traffic police have released a detailed traffic diversion plan to ensure smooth traffic flow and facilitate the processions commemorating Eid Miladun Nabi.
Key Details of the Traffic Plan:
– Procession Routes and Road Closures: All three processions will take place on MA Jinnah Road. This road and the surrounding streets will be closed to traffic for the day.
– Traffic Diversions:
– From M Arkiani Chowk: Traffic will be redirected to Chowrangi Road to avoid congestion around the procession route.
– From Empress Market Area: Vehicles will be diverted onto Zaibunnisa Street.
– From Aram Bagh Light Signal (Sharea Liaquat): Traffic will be redirected towards Shaheen Complex.
– From University Road: Traffic will be diverted onto Kashmir Road via Jail Flyover.
– Traffic Heading Towards People’s Chowrangi: Will be rerouted to Saddar via Sharea Quaideen or Corridor-III.
– From Guru Mandir: Traffic coming onto MA Jinnah Road will be redirected towards Central Jail.
– From Lasbela: Traffic will be barred from entering MA Jinnah Road.
