Karachi Students Launch Pakistan’s First Four-Wheel Urban Electric Vehicle

On Friday, Team Envision from PNEC-NUST unveiled Pakistan’s first four-wheel Urban Electric Vehicle (UEV) in Karachi. The event attracted a large crowd of students, parents, and guests.

Commodore Tauqeer Ahmed praised Team Envision for their dedication, noting their participation in 17 international competitions and representing Pakistan in 14 countries. This global presence highlights the country’s talent and enhances its international reputation.

Rear Admiral Mazhar Mehmood Malik also spoke, commending the team for their 15 years of effort in developing the UEV. He stressed that their hard work is a valuable investment in both their future and Pakistan’s automotive industry. Admiral Malik encouraged the team to keep up their efforts as they prepare to represent Pakistan in an upcoming event in Turkey.

The event not only celebrated the technological milestone of Pakistan’s first UEV but also showcased the innovation and determination of young Pakistani engineers. The support from officials and the community highlights the importance of advancing sustainable technology and engineering in the country.
