The Sir Syed Express, a new train service between Karachi and Rawalpindi, has officially commenced operations.
Pakistan Railways CEO Aamir Baloch announced that the 16-compartment train, a result of a public-private partnership, will travel via Faisalabad.
Passengers on the Sir Syed Express will benefit from a range of amenities, including meals and free WiFi. Tickets can be conveniently purchased through mobile apps.
Baloch also revealed plans for Pakistan Railways to introduce ten additional trains under public-private partnerships starting next month.
